HKS RB26 V Cam System

"V CAM SYSTEM" that evolves the famous RB26 into a new generation engine with a variable valve timing mechanism. It is set with the dedicated control system "VALCON type RB26".

Features

The V CAM dedicated to STEP1 has an opening of 248°. At first glance, the numbers are modest, but due to the variable valve timing mechanism, it shows performance that easily surpasses normal from low to high rotation.
It realizes a very advantageous medium and low speed torque increase in various situations such as ease of handling on the street such as overtaking acceleration on highways and uphill roads, time improvement by acceleration from low speed corners when driving on the circuit. Even if the gear position is fixed, the vehicle will be accelerated effortlessly. In particular, the improvement in torque from the negative pressure range to the start of supercharging feels as if the displacement has increased.
By optimizing the valve timing, the combustion condition is improved, so environmental performance such as lower fuel consumption and cleaner exhaust gas is also improved.
This kit is compatible with normal pistons and can be installed easily. (If you grind the cylinder head or use a thin head gasket, the clearance between the valve and the piston may be insufficient.)
The exhaust side camshaft can be selected according to the turbine.
