With the conventional straight structure silencer, the drum part is below the flange, and when the vehicle height is lowered, the clearance with the road surface disappears.
Therefore, this Shakotan silencer is designed to offset the drum to the same height as the flange to ensure clearance.
The drum has a straight structure that uses punching material without squeezing, so it is possible to lower the volume while minimizing power down.
The diameter of the pipe is set to φ76.5 in order to suppress the drop in low and medium speed torque.
